GOSWIM Swimming Lessons
We are proud to offer GOswim swimming lessons that are powered by Swimming Australia these swim lessons are a new, fun way to learn to swim and be safe in and around the water. GOswim focuses on contemporary, experiential and activity-based learning.

GOswim Curriculum
The curriculum covers seven areas of learning. These areas are combined and presented as activities to enhance student development.

Revitalisation Works
Following a comprehensive revitalisation project that began in January 2025, we are excited to share that Pelican Park Recreation Centre is nearly ready to reopen! These works have ensured the facility is future-ready, sustainable and better equipped to serve our community.
We can confirm that our GOswim classes will resume at Pelican Park from Monday 8 September 2025.

Every child’s GOswim journey is powered by innovative technology. The Active World app was specifically designed to improve communication and interaction between your swim schools, parents and swimmers.
Your self managed personal portal will enable you to:
- View upcoming classes
- Book new classes
- Advise of your child’s non-attendance and book make-up lessons
- Track learning pathways and progression
- Receive digital awards for effort, teamwork, perseverance and having FUN!
- Send and receive messages to the Centre staff
- Manage personal and billing details

Membership Fees
Membership fees are due and payable via direct debit. This fee covers the cost of the lesson and holds the student’s place in class. A separate document detailing terms and conditions related to direct debit payments is available from reception.
Essentials for Each Lesson
- A towel
- A well, non-contagious student
- Goggles and cap, if the student prefers
- A swim nappy if your child is not toilet trained
- A happy and cheery smile with lots of energy
Makeup Classes
Makeup classes are self managed through the Active World app. A minimum of 2 hours notice must be given to qualify for a makeup class. If a medical certificate is provided, make up classes or credits apply.
